Backup local wp site
I'm creating some wordpress.org sites locally using Xampp (and creating a backend database using php myadmin).
I want to professionally create wordpress websites for my clients. Is it wise to regularly back up my local wordpress site to save the long term creations? If so, what is the process for backing up a locally hosted site to save the site creations in case they are lost? Will it be saved as a zip file? And then what is the process of restoring the saved local wordpress site? I've searched everywhere but can't find any step-by-step process. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
