Remove search bar and checkout area

I would like to remove the search bar and checkout area, which are located at the top of the right side of the page, but I don't know where I can do that. I went into the theme, Woocommerce and tried to download the menu plugin to remove it. But they stay there no matter what. Does anyone know how I can remove these sections?
