I find that many people still use third-party page builders like Elementor or WP Bakery to build new websites. These tools were very useful in the old days, when WordPress didn't have a fully integrated site editor.
But today, thanks to the improved "Gutenberg" editor (i.e. the new full site editing experience), managing your WordPress site becomes very easy and doesn't require too many third-party plugins.
The latest WordPress version can even import fonts from Google without any third party plugins! In my opinion, that's awesome.
If you use a third-party page builder, it will be "locked" and you will need to continue using it unless you want to rewrite your site from scratch.
If a plugin is required, choose the plugin that uses the block editor. Many of the new plugins are supported! Then you can easily insert them into your page without using theshort codeThe
🥺🥺 Just use the WordPress native experience.
