Mastering the Elementor Editor: A Comprehensive Guide to Using it from Toolbar to Canvas

For your convenience, the top toolbar of Elementor editor provides many functions. You can easily access these functions by simply clicking on the top toolbar, making your editing work more convenient and efficient.

Editor Controls

The following table lists a description of each editor control on the toolbar. They appear on the toolbar from left to right:

take note of: If you don't have the top editor bar of your website open when you implement the page panel, then when you open the top bar later, certain features may not show up. If you come across this situation, you'll have to contact customer support to help you out.

Use the Pages panel to perform the following actions directly in the Elementor editor without returning to the WordPress dashboard: 

• Edit page 
• View page 
• change ones name
• make a copy of
• Delete an existing page to create a new page 
• Setting a page as a home page

Edit page

The new page opens in the editor.

Rename page

Each page of your site has a unique name. Change this name by using the Page Settings or Page Panel.

To rename a page via the Pages panel:

1. In the top bar, clickweb pageIcons.

2. In the Pages panel, click the ellipsis next to the page you want to rename.

3. Select from the menuRename.

4. Enter a new page name. 

Copy page

To maintain a consistent look and feel, new pages can be created by copying existing pages. 

Copy page::

1. In the top bar, clickweb pageIcons.

2. In the Pages panel, click the ellipsis next to the page you want to rename.

3. Select from the menu"Reproduction".

The new page will appear in the panel.

Delete page

Delete the page directly in the editor. 

1. In the top bar, clickweb pageIcons.

2. In the Pages panel, click the ellipsis next to the page you want to delete.

3. Select from the menuDelete.

View page

Quickly check another page without having to return to the WordPress dashboard.

Setting a page as a home page

Every website must have one and only one homepage.

To set a page as a home page::
