First, you need to pick a suitable WordPress contact form plugin.

Step 2. Install Contact Form Plugin in WordPress
In this guide, we'll use the WPForms Lite version, which is not only free but also great to use.

Step 3. Create a Contact Form in WordPress
Now that WPForms is activated, you can start making your contact form in WordPress.
Simply go to your WordPress control panel, find "WPForms" and click "All Forms". Then, just click the "Add New" button.

Once you have customized your form, remember to click the "Save" button.
Step 4. Configure WordPress Form Notifications and Confirmations
Now that your contact form is ready, it's important to next set up confirmation messages and notification emails after the form is submitted.
A "Form Acknowledgement" is the feedback that visitors see after submitting a form. This can be a simple thank you message, a link to a downloadable PDF, or whatever you want to display.
"Form Notification" is the email notification you receive on your WordPress site when someone fills out a form.
To set up a confirmation message, click on the Settings tab, then find and click on Confirmation in the form builder.
A default thank you message has been provided, but you can customize this message in the Acknowledgement Message field as desired.

If you want the user to jump to another page after submitting the form instead of displaying a confirmation message, select the "Go to URL" option, which can be found in the "Confirmation Type" drop-down menu.
Next, enter the web address (URL) of the page you want the user to go to in the appropriate place.

Don't forget to click the "Save" button if you have made any changes.
Next, check that your form notification settings are correct. Simply click on "Notifications" under the "Settings" menu.

By default, any notifications will be sent to the administrator's email address that you used when you built your site.
If you want to change to another email address, just change the new one there. And, if you want to send notifications to more than one e-mail address at the same time, just separate them with a comma.
The system will automatically use your form name as the "Email Subject Line". The "From Name" field will be populated with your username.

When you reply to a message on the form, the reply is sent to the e-mail address that the user has entered in the contact form.
Remember to click the "Save" button after making any changes.

Step 5. Add the WordPress contact form to the page
You've set up your WordPress contact form, the next step is to get it on the page.
This form can be added to an existing "Contact" page on your website, or you can create a new page.
To create a new page, go to "Pages" and select "Add New". Give your page a name.
Next, we'll add the form using the WPForms module. Click on the "plus" button on the page and search for "WPForms".
Then select the "WPForms" module that appears.
