The final 2024 update introduces Style Book functionality to the Classic theme, a new Query Total block, and a number of enhancements to the component library, as well as code quality improvements.

Style books in classic themes

Stylebooks are now available in theSupported classic themes are found in the path:Appearance > Design > Style(Appearance > Design > Styles) under the Admin menu.

The Stylebook provides a comprehensive overview of website colors, typography, and block styles, all presented in well-organized layouts. Each block example and style group is labeled for easy previewing and understanding of the current theme's design settings. Think of it as a party thrown by the theme, with all the design elements bringing their name tags.

For classic themes that support style books, the site mode has been moved to the Appearance > Design > Patterns(Appearance > Design > Patterns), which unifies all design-related functionality into one place. Previously, patterns were listed in the Appearance > Mode Down.

Introducing the Query Total block

May know how many results are in a query, but do your site readers? New Query Total block can help with this.

When it is added to the Query Loop block, the Query Totals block displays the number of results returned by the query or, alternatively, the range in the current paged result set.
