After downloading the plugin, install and activate it normally like any other WordPress plugin.

First, switch to the License tab and enter the key. This can be found on the TranslatePress website under Account.

The first option on this page is to select the default language of the website and the language into which you want to translate the website.
Next, choose whether or not to display the language name in the native language. The default option is "clogged", which means that the language name will be displayed in the default language.
After that, you have to select whether you want the default language name to be displayed as a subdirectory in the URL. For example, https://www.361sale.com/en/.

This will go to the next setting"Force customization of language in links". The default option is "be", as this will change the custom link for the translated language and make the URL more SEO-friendly.

The Google Translate API key or Deepl's API needs to be provided in the next option. a link will be found under that option which will show instructions on how to get the key.
Finally, you will see the options on how to display the language switcher on your website.TranslatePress offers three options.

Translation of website content
To translate a website, simply click on the plugin settings page on the "Translation website" tab or a button in the WordPress admin bar.

This will open the Live Translation Editor in a new browser tab.
In this live editor, you can click on any text on the website in the right pane and TranslatePress will load it into the left column for translation.

Now click on the language into which you want to translate the string and provide the translation.
After entering the translation, click on the top "Save translation" button, and then click the "the next step"TranslatePress will automatically load the next string on the page for you to translate.
It is also possible to click directly on the drop-down menu below the default language, which will display a list of text strings on the page that can be translated. You can select a string and then provide its translation.
