Element is dynamic and has no content to display
If dynamically extracting content (either from a custom field or a WooCommerce product), or even displaying post or page content and metadata in an archive or single template, you may sometimes encounter grayed out widgets. This happens because there is no displayable content in the widget. To fix this, you need to add content to the product, page or post.

Here are some examples:
- A WooCommerce single product template is being set up where one of the product elements, such as a short description, is shown in gray. In this example, products must be edited in the WooCommerce Product Editor to add a short description for each product. Once you enter a short description for a product, the single product template will display the short description and will no longer be grayed out. If only some of the products contain this content, you can verify that it is working by previewing one of the products in the template editor.
- An individual post template is being set up where one of the post elements (such as the featured image) is displayed in gray. In this example, the post must be edited in the WordPress editor and the featured image must be added to each post. Once the featured image is attached to the post, the individual post template will display the featured image and will no longer display it in gray. If only some of the posts have featured images, you can verify that this feature is working properly by previewing one of the posts in the template editor.
- A custom field is being dynamically added, but the field is grayed out. As with the other examples, there is no content in the field, so you need to go to the relevant post or page and add content to the custom field. Once the custom field has content, it will be displayed and no longer grayed out.
These are just a few examples. It may be possible to encounter this situation in other ways, but in all cases it should be assumed that if an attempt is made to display content dynamically and you encounter a gray-out in the editor, it should be assumed that there is no content to display. Add content to the relevant area of the site and the graying in the editor will resolve itself.

Of course, site visitors don't see any "grizzly"Content. Of course, in many cases, some products or posts will have this type of content and others will not. That's no problem. On the live site, if a product or post is missing a specific content element, it will not be displayed. Those products and posts that do have content will display dynamically as expected.
Attention:If you see gray areas and none of the above applies, you may be experiencing an issue with anotherPlug-in conflicts, or add theCustom Code. In this case, an error appears in the console.
