Customize your store

After completing the registration, you can choose to customize your store. Using the WordPress website editing tools and patterns can help quickly design the store, from the logo all the way to the footer.
The first time you select "Customize Your Store" you will see a screen where you can select aExisting themes, or select "start designing " to create your design. Select "start designing "After that, two things can happen;

• If your event theme is already Twenty Twenty-four, select "start designing " will go directly to the new "Pattern Assembler".
• If you are using a different theme, you will be prompted to switch to "twenty-twenty-four" and then go to the "Pattern Compiler".

Once you're in, you can start by browsing through the customization process and letting it walk you through its features.

In the "Layout" section, you can start by choosing a header pattern for your site.WooCommerce offers four ready-made header patterns. These include common elements such as the site logo, site title, customer account and mini shopping cart blocks, and navigation menus.

Next, you can design your homepage and choose the pattern that best showcases your store and products. These blocks and patterns can be easily edited to replace them with your own images and link to your products when ready.

Finally, 3 footer modes can be selected for the website. Again, the footer can be easily edited and further customized as needed. Once all the choices have been made, it's time to select "Save "to publish customized settings.

Store Setup List

After completing or skipping the Store Profiling stage, you can access a list of the most important tasks that need to be completed to get the store up and running: products, payments, shipping, taxes, marketing and store personalization. The list can be skipped at any time.

Select Topic

Start customizing the look and feel of the store.

"Add Topic"The page shows the various themes available in the WordPress.org Theme Library. You can choose one of any of the displayed themes, or of course, you can choose your favorite theme.

Add Shipping

Store locations can be confirmed. It is also possible to set shipping rates for your country and the rest of the world. The rest of the world shipping rates are disabled by default and can all be enabled in this step.

If the store is located in the US, you can install WooCommerce Shipping and connect your store here so you can print labels from home.

Setting up taxes

This step has three options: use theWooCommerce TaxUse ofAvalara,Manually set taxes and feesor no sales tax is collected.

You can confirm store locations and add them if you haven't done it before.

If WooCommerce Tax is selected and Jetpack is installed, you can start calculating taxes automatically by connecting your store to WordPress.com. Setting up payments

In this step, one or more options can be selected and activated to accept online and offline payments. All payment extensions are free and WooCommerce will automatically install and activate them after you select them.

For certain payment gateways such as (WooPayments, Stripe and PayPal), WooCommerce will help create an account with the payment provider, go through the authentication process and complete the entire process in this step so you can start accepting payments immediately.

There are several scenarios, depending on where the store is located and the information provided in the store profiler.

WooPayments is currently available in over 15 countries. If WooPayments is already pre-installed, or if WooPayments is installed during the store profiling process, WooCommerce will display a specific task to complete the WooPayments setup.

Stripe and PayPal can be used if you're in a country other than the U.S. WooCommerce will also show you other options based on the country where the store is located, such as Square, Klarna, Mollie, PayFast, PayU, Razorpay, Mercado Pago, PayFast, and Eway.

Payment tasks also make it easy to set up offline payments such as cash on delivery and direct bank transfers.
